It is also a portmanteau of “keynote + animation”.

Our in-house studio uses a unique technique in creating illustrations and animations—it involves the traditional sketching of an illustration, which are then re-drawn and manipulated digitally through presentation software, such as Keynote and PowerPoint. Its visual style is reminiscent to that of limited animation seen primarily in the ’60s and ’70s, whilst also preserving creativity.
