We are now officially at the halfway mark of the 2020s, a roller coaster of a decade filled with never-ending challenges and unexpected turns.
As we head into 2026, we are living in unprecedented times where the internet and our culture have become increasingly divided, and viewers are looking for more creative, original entertainment than ever before.
That’s why Savvy Sage is shifting away from its tech-centric roots to focus more on a new creative-centric vision, putting an emphasis on creative storytelling.
Going forward, Savvy Sage will consist of two parts: Savvy Sage for non-fiction, and Keynimation for works of fiction.
For both parts, we’re collaborating with creatives outside of the tech realm, allowing for more unique voices to be heard. Lesser-known subjects that are barely covered will also take priority, with some exceptions—this will allow us to further accomplish our goal of “unleashing the uncommon”.
We’re also pushing this goal for Keynimation—we recently premiered our original web comic series Bountiful Berkeley in December of 2025, and it has been received very well by our viewers. While we are currently working on new comics, we’re also planning on producing cartoon shorts that will play before major Savvy Sage episodes.
Like we have with all of our works, they will be available for free (supported by ads), and done without the use of generative AI. Creativity is a fundamental element to a human being—if done right, it can leave a big impact on someone in a positive light.
We know that appeasing everyone is an impossible task. However, we want to make sure that the focus will remain on creating original, entertaining content, whether it’s a retrospective based on a true story, or a short story made from the creative mind.
Of course, we will continue to offer this content early to our Savvy Insiders on Patreon, which will remain $3 per month. (You’ll also get other rewards, such as a growing library of Savvy Sage video logs!)
By shifting to a more creative community, we can tell great stories that will be remembered for years to come, while also giving smaller voices the recognition they deserve. We’re all about unleashing the unique, unleashing the unexpected, and most importantly: Unleashing the uncommon.
