Community Guidelines

There are two golden rules that are to be followed: Use common sense and treat others the way you want to be treated. (In a perfect world, that’s all we should say.)

Anyways, for real:

1. All viewers here are treated equally with respect, and we want to keep it that way. We will NOT tolerate the following:

• Discrimination, such as racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, etc.
• Cyberbullying
• Harassment
• Hate speech
• Racial slurs
• Self-harm
• Impersonation

Failure to comply will result in your comment being removed and being blocked from future comments permanently.

2. DO NOT flood or spam. We will not tolerate repeating messages, unsolicited ads/scams, emoji spam, etc. Failure to comply will result in your comment being removed.

3. DO NOT post any content that is considered harmful, malicious, or otherwise NSFW (Not Safe For Work) / inappropriate. We will NOT tolerate the following:

• Intensely violent content
• Pornography
• Malware (such as IP loggers, viruses, etc.)
• Doxxing (personal or private information)

Failure to comply will result in your comment being removed and being blocked from future comments permanently.

4. DO NOT send unsolicited messages. If you’re looking to promote your work or post a Discord server invite link in the comments, this is not the place to do so.

5. Discussions on controversial/polarizing/divisive topics (such as politics, religion, violent themes, sexual themes, AI, etc.) are restricted, and MUST be kept at a minimum. We are not here to rile people up, nor is this the place to fully discuss them. Failure to comply will result in your comments being removed.

We will NOT tolerate the following:

• Discussions that support, encourage, endorse, or promote violence or discourse.

• Discussions that support, encourage, endorse, or promote the use of cryptocurrency and NFTs.

• Discussions that support, encourage, endorse, or promote the use of AI-generated content. (We understand that there are legitimate uses for AI such as in the medical and accessibility field, but when it comes to content-creation, we would rather promote human-created works than those created entirely by algorithms.)

• Discussions that (whether unintentional or not) support, encourage, promote, or incite copyright infringement, commonly known as piracy. (We understand there are issues like DRM and copyright abuse, but it is best to take things like this on a case-by-case basis.)
  
  

Failure to comply after repeat offenses will result in being blocked from future comments permanently.

6. Keep the discussions on-topic. This is a common courtesy rule to ensure the comments section stay organized and clean.

7. All comments must be kept English only. While we do welcome and respect international viewers, we ask humbly to keep all comments in English, so we don’t have to constantly translate them.

8. Only one account per viewer is allowed. Alternate accounts are not permitted in the comments, ESPECIALLY when trying to evade bans. If you lose access to your main account, please let us know privately.

9. Respect the privacy of others. Please refrain from asking for personal, private, or otherwise sensitive information that could make them feel uncomfortable.

All of the rules listed above are subject to change without notice, and if necessary, additional rules may be added. We recommend checking the rules on a regular basis (but not too much) to ensure everyone has a good understanding of etiquette here.

We strive to make Savvy Sage an open and friendly community. If we all follow the rules, we can make this community a fun, safe, and comfortable place for all viewers alike!
