In 2021, Savvy Sage went to his first Vintage Computer Festival Midwest in Elmhurst, Illinois as a visitor. Each year, he has met new folks, acquired a bunch of items for his collection, and even interviewed several key figures in the retro tech community. The convention was later moved to Schaumburg, Illinois for 2024, where Savvy Sage got his first booth.

For 2025, Savvy Sage will be taking a break from the convention, with plans to return in 2026.
