What you’re watching is a video about the history and features of Windows 1.x, originally released on January 21st, 2017.
This is a remake of my first Software Room episode where I cover Windows 1.0, only this time I cover it in great detail. I first introduced my professional, scripted review format for The Software Room back in 2016 with my “Macintosh System 1.0” overview. (For more information on the series, check out the description of my “Windows 1.01 Commentary” video, also available through The Savvy Sage Vault.)
Although the visual quality was fairly decent for the time, there are numerous voiceover issues, most notably when it came to pronouncing some words—nowadays I’ve gotten better at them, especially when it comes to the tone and pacing.
Regardless, I hope you enjoy this review—maybe I’ll re-visit it on my Savvy Sage series one day…
